As an innovation manager for Doblin within the Deloitte Digital studio I lead multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, developers, and business strategists. My diverse experience enables me to both empathize with, and contribute directly to, the work of each of the disciplines I lead. I serve clients across industries including consumer products, financial services, and healthcare delivering work spanning both B2B and B2C situations. In addition to my primary role, I spearhead a new offering that explores experiences at the intersection of digital and physical environments.

Outside of work, I am passionate about boats, birds, and buildings... I never need an excuse to go on the Chicago architectural boat tour!

Doblin is the global innovation strategy group within the Deloitte Digital studio. As a manager I lead multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, developers, and business strategists. IBM – DS&iX

IX is IBM's global digital design consultancy. While at IBM iX, I focused on interdisciplinary projects where I acted as an integrator between business viability, technical feasibility and consumer desirability.

Frog is a global innovation and design consultancy, with deep roots in industrial design. I worked at frog for my MBA summer internship. 

Prophet

Prophet is a global growth consultancy with a focus on brand strategy and design. As a founding member of Prophet's architectural design team, I translated brand strategy into physical and digital experiences.

Fortune 500 CPG:

Defined the go-to-market strategy for a product poised to disrupt a $400M cleaning category. Conducted stakeholder interviews, synthesized insights, and defined quantifiable “value drivers.” Applied game theory to identify the value-maximizing scenario that unlocked $191M in value and positioned our Fortune 500 CPG client as the new category lead.​

Fortune 10 Chemical Manufacturer:

Created the B2B market-entry strategy for a molecule developed by a Fortune 10 Chemical Manufacturer. Validated consumer desirability and business viability. Estimated up to $2B in new revenue impacting a $8.9B global detergent market. Developed supply chain partnership strategy to maximize client value and prevent commoditization.

Fortune 50 Health Insurer:

Launched a loyalty rewards program for Medicare participants for a Fortune 50 Health Insurer. Authored marketing collateral to drive trial of senior-focused clinics in a pilot market. Established a targeted incentive strategy to encourage adherence and engagement in preventative care. Designed “north star” user experience covering +50 touchpoints.

Fortune 50 Automotive Manufacturer:

Developed the purchase experience strategy for a Fortune 50 automotive manufacturer’s electric vehicle lineup. Closely

collaborated across strategy, design, and technology teams and navigated complex stakeholder and legal constraints to

deliver a differentiated experience within a legacy organization. North American market implementation set for Fall 2023.

Founded Deloitte offering exploring experiences unlocked at the intersection of digital and physical environments. Authored proprietary IP and contributed to a pipeline of new business opportunities.

​

Fortune 500 Retail Bank:

Updated form design for the retirement offering at a Fortune 500 retail bank. Interviewed ops staff to fix common reasons for rejected applications and reduce customer service calls. Brought design into ADA compliance.

Regional Insurance Provider:

Elevated agent and underwriter experiences for a 200-year-old Insurance Provider by digitizing outdated infrastructure and accelerating vetting processes for new business. Delivered an AI-driven chat bot and development roadmap.

Global Automotive Parts Manufacturer:

Launched an innovation unit for a $1B Automotive Parts Manufacturer. Established org structure and trained the team on proprietary tradecraft. Filled pipeline with four transformative ideas with the potential to generate $3.9M in revenue.

Frito-Lay:

Transformed the digital experience of the retail execution platform for Frito-Lay’s direct store delivery employees. Impacted 15,000 routes and 500,000 weekly service calls for over 315,000 customers. Employed agile methodologies as Product Owner for the 16-person user centered design team including UX/UI, front-end developers, and researchers. Collaborated to develop and deploy full stack solutions leveraging Salesforce and bespoke tools.​

Brand Strategy & Omnichannel Experience Design

​

Qdoba Mexican Eats:

Led physical experience design on an interdisciplinary team that developed a new identity, positioning, and customer experience for Qdoba. Translated brand and marketing strategies into a differentiated dining experience. Guided initial market launch of 640+ restaurants. Saw 11.7% growth in same store sales after implementing overall strategy.​

​

Lovesac:

Dove deep into consumer insights for rebranding of furniture startup, Lovesac. Performed ethnographic research; results directly applied in-store. Presented prototype to client C-Suite, launched trial in 10+ locations to initiate global rollout.

​

Corner Store:

Envisioned “convenience store of the future” for CST Brands. Performed in-store customer ethnographies. Used insights to develop new product offerings and retail designs to foster sustainable growth. Presented leading strategy to c-suite.

​

Zazen Bear:

Designed initial location of Korean luxury brand, Zazen Bear. The SoHo flagship integrated digital, physical, retail and lifestyle brand experiences to target “Zen” customer segment; final design was awarded silver medal at New York Design Awards.

 

Samsung:

Defined new brand strategy for Samsung retail environments. Updated floor plan and merchandising scheme to create a customer experience around engagement and discovery. Designed and implemented a scalable kit of signature brand elements in partnership with Cheil Worldwide.

Modell's Sporting Goods:

Leveraged customer analytics to optimize merchandising and retail efficiency for Modell’s Sporting Goods stores. Redefined the retail customer experience to align with a brand positioning around the emotional bond of sport.

Maserati:

Directed design of 75+ Maserati dealerships across North America. Managed 5-person interdisciplinary team and advised global corporate identity managers, local dealers, contractors, and architects.
